The Third Gate Review
The Day – 9-9-20 This is going to sound repetitive, but I spent the morning puttering over at the rental, just doing little things to make it more appealing to a potential buyer. I also got my chimneys swept, so I’m already for cold weather. I made it to my writing desk about 1:00, but only managed 4 pages. I’m really close to the end of Book 6 and this slowdown always happens at the end of a novel, at least for me. The Day – 8-29-20 Yesterday got off to a terrible start. I woke up with an awful cramp in my right calf. Now I’ve been woken up in a number of unpleasant ways, but a Charlie Horse is right up there with the worst of them. The spotty internet made getting my morning business stuff done a dicy prospect, but I managed it between outages. After a nice lunch, I didn’t bother trying to watch a movie. Rogue Warfare Review
The Day – 8-26-20 Well yesterday was way less productive than I had hoped. My handyman came back in the morning to complete a couple small jobs that ended up taking three hours. Which is fine since I really needed both things done. One of the outside water faucets needed replacing and a board under the sink also needed replacing. Badlands Review
The Day – 8-22-20 It was good to get back to my usual schedule yesterday with no distractions. Next week is looking busy so I plan to enjoy the next couple days of calm. After doing some business stuff in the morning, I went to the post office, got nothing interesting, and came home. After lunch I watched the movie Badlands, review to follow. I made it to my writing desk around 2:00 and managed 6 pages, a really good result. I’m writing a particularly interesting section of the new book and the words are coming easily, which is nice.
