Rogue Warfare Review

The Day – 8-26-20

Well yesterday was way less productive than I had hoped. My handyman came back in the morning to complete a couple small jobs that ended up taking three hours. Which is fine since I really needed both things done. One of the outside water faucets needed replacing and a board under the sink also needed replacing. That’s all done and I have nothing scheduled for a full week, thank goodness.

After lunch I tried to watch a movie, but I’ll get into that in the review below.

I can’t remember if I mentioned it, but I upgraded my internet to 400 Mbp and the new hardware arrived yesterday. So that was most of my afternoon. The worst part is that after two calls to the company, it still isn’t working right. So guess what I’ll be working on after I post this?

By some miracle, I manage 2 pages yesterday. Not a great writing day by any means, but it is forward momentum which is important.

So I found an action movie that looked good. At least the description looked good. And the premise had potential. It’s about this group of soldiers from a variety of countries working together to fight terrorists. Pretty standard hook, right?

Where this movie fell down was on execution. I’ve watched some bad movies that were saved by great action. This one had nothing. The characters were unlikable and annoying. The action lame. And the less said about the dialogue the better. I gritted my teeth through 45 minutes and quit. Despite how awful it was, somehow they decided to make a sequel, which I won’t be watching. This is a hard avoid from me. Try at your own risk.

Finally a preview update. The Portal Thieves is up to 631. Thanks everyone for your support.

Talk to you tomorrow.
