The Day – 8-25-20

I’m delighted to report that the laundry room is now fully restored to its cluttered glory. The new floor turned out great and best of all it’s waterproof so if the worst happens and we have another leak, there will be no damage. Not to the floor anyway. Glad as I am to have that done, moving all the furniture back in was a job and a half. I’m pretty sore today and hope not to have to move anything heavy.

All that moving took time away from writing and tired me out which didn’t help. Still, I managed 4 pages on the new novel so that’s not too bad.

Legend of Korra update

So I finished the first season of Legend of Korra. I know some people gave it poor marks, but so far I’m enjoying it. The first season is all about the avatar trying to stop this crazy guy that wants to defeat all benders and take away their magic. The action is good and the animation smooth. I can’t see any signs that corners were cut in the production. There is a bit of sappy teenage romance, but you can fast forward through that pretty easily if it’s not your thing.

All in all the first season was excellent and gets a recommend from me.
