The Day – 8-14-20

Well, yesterday was a much better day than the day before. No doctors, no traveling beyond the post office, and little in the way of distractions. The launch for The Great Northern War went really well and judging by the way the preorders a coming in, people are reading and enjoying it. That makes me very happy, so thank you to everyone that bought a copy yesterday or who preordered earlier.

Now, after a morning where I spent too much time refreshing my sales dashboard, I had a nice steak lunch then watch the movie Safe. More on that in the review below.

After the movie, I made it to my writing desk about 2:00 and managed 5 pages, much better than yesterday.

Safe Movie Review

So Safe is a Jason Statham action movie. He plays an ex-cop with a ton of demons and other problems. Eventually he’s standing on the subway platform thinking about killing himself. Before he can do it, he sees this little girl whose in trouble. He latches on to her as a sort of redemption. In the process of saving her, he does a ton of damage to both the Russian and Chinese mafia. I won’t spoil if for you, but if you like action movies, this an excellent choice. It gets a recommend from me.

We’ll end with a preorder up date. The Portal Thieves is up to 245, that’s up 71 from yesterday. Absolutely unbelievable. Thank you all so much.
