Firewalker Review

The Day – 8-9-20

I found I was a little bit scattered yesterday. Do you every have one of those days where you can’t seem to focus on one thing for very long? That was me yesterday. I spent the morning puttering around on Redbubble building a merch store. It’s something I’ve been meaning to do for a while, but I just kept putting off.

Originally I was going to use Teechip, but they’re being sued by Jeff Dunham, the ventriloquist comedian, for allowing his trademarked images to appear on their site. I can’t say what will come of it, but I don’t want to build a shop on a site only to have it go out of business.

One thing I like about Redbubble is that they have arrangements with a number of companies to allow fan art. I don’t actually plan on making any, but I liked the idea. My plan is to try and get some extra use out of all the art I’ve had made for my covers.

Since I don’t have to actually do anything beyond uploading the images and tweaking how they appear on items, it’s basically bonus money.

I only have two designs up, but if you’re interested, you can check out my shop here. https://www.redbubble.com/people/Sandhillmerch/shop?asc=u

After lunch I watched a movie with Chuck Norris called Firewalker. Finally I settled down around 2:00 and managed 4 pages.

Firewalker Review

I had actually seen this move before yesterday. It was one of my favorites as a kid. It’s a classic adventure movie with these two guys getting mixed up with a pretty girl and a search for lost gold in the jungle. There’s naturally a villain after them, in this case a crazy person who thinks he’s descended from the priests of ancient times. There’s action, magic, a little comedy, and a little romance. Everything you could want in an adventure movie. I highly recommend Firewalker if you’re into these movies. It’s free if you have an Amazon Prime subscription.

Finally a preorder update. The Great Northern War has reached 1,211. Thanks very much everyone for your support.

Talk to you tomorrow.
