The Day – 9-4-20

You know the phrase the best laid plans of mice and men? My plans keep getting kicked in the head by my rental property. Yesterday, my handyman needed to get in to look at the second broken window. He also told me the new window for the first broken one should be in today. So that’s a good thing for sure. I just wish all this stuff didn’t happen in the middle of my writing time. Oh well, that’s life, right?

Anyway, aside from that minor disruption, the day went smoothly enough. I got caught up on Deadliest Catch after lunch. And let me tell, anytime I feel like complaining about what I have to do, I just watch those poor guys out on the Bearing Sea in the freezing cold. It really puts your situation in perspective.

I made it to my writing desk about 3:00 and managed 5 more pages. A pretty good day all in all.

Throne of Atlantis Review

This is the second Justice League movie in the DC Animated Universe and covers the introduction of Aquaman and Atlantis. Once again the animation quality is fantastic. The plot follows our reluctant hero as he’s forced to accept his destiny as the next king of Atlantis. There are some great action scenes, especially the final battle in I think Metropolis. If you haven’t seen it and are into animated hero movies, your should check it out. It gets a recommend from me.
