The Day – 9-29-20

Our streak of nice weather came to an end yesterday. I had to make a supply run and the sky was so dark on the trip down I feared we might get a tornado. I’m too busy right now to end up in Oz, so I was glad to settle for a cold, drizzle. After a nice lunch I came home, put everything away, and made it to my writing desk around 2:00.

I started the seventh book fo the Portal Wars Saga. It’s titled The Sanguine Scroll and I managed 4 pages to begin. Not bad on a shopping day.

My cover designer also got started on the illustration for The Heart of Alchemy. So that’s progressing nicely.

A couple minor audio related items. The Hidden Tower is now available on Apple. Also, my narrator is nearly done with The Great Northern War. I hope to get that up for sale on Kobo at least by the end of next week. The other storefronts are slower, but I’ll be sure to submit the book as soon as it’s ready.

Starting tomorrow, we’ll be doing a month long series focusing on monsters and horror. While I don’t care for psychological horror or movies like House of a Thousand Corpses, I do enjoy monster movies. Especially ones that focus on action. But we’ll get into that more tomorrow.
