The Day – 10-28-20

Yesterday was a pretty quiet day. I spent the morning on business stuff, which means I have a few updates for you.

First update – My cover designer is moving apartments so the cover of The Heart of Alchemy will be a little later than I originally planned. Not a huge deal, but I wanted to let those of you that had read The Chamber of Eternity and were eagerly waiting for the next book know where we stood. I’m now revising my Payhip release date target back to mid-November. Fingers crossed.

Second update – I also heard from my narrator. The final two books of the Portal Wars Saga are on his schedule for February 2021. Later than I’d hoped for but not too bad given my wide publication schedule.

Third update – This is the last one I promise. My typo hunter is almost halfway done with The Heart of Alchemy, so I’ll be able to do the final edits and formatting hopefully this weekend so everything will be ready when the cover is done.

Okay, end of the updates and my morning.

Lunch was a mixed bag with really good meat balls and lousy pasta and sauce. I tried a prepackaged meal where you just add boiling water. Bad call on my part. I won’t be getting that brand again.

After lunch I made it to my writing desk around 1:30 and managed a solid 5 pages.

Last night I started the second book in The Saga of Tanya the Evil. So far, way better than book one. I’m really looking forward to getting deeper into the series.
