The Day – 11-23-20

I had to get my truck inspected yesterday, right in the middle of my writing time. Finishing the rough draft the day before ended up being perfect timing. The truck passed with no issues, so that was good. I don’t actually use it very much, but when you need a truck, it’s nice to have.

Other than that, nothing much happened. When I got back from the garage, I edited the first three chapters and added two pages. With any luck I’ll have the book ready for the copyeditor by Monday.

Manga Update 2

I mentioned that I got the storyboard back from the artist yesterday. I went through it and made a changes. I’m happy to report that she got back to my today with everything I wanted changed done. That’s an excellent sign that we’re going to be able to work well together. Now that I’ve approved the storyboard, she can move on to the detailed black and white line work. That’s when the story will really come alive. I can’t wait to see it.
