The Day – 11-8-20

I had a pretty quiet day yesterday. Aside from a little yard work I didn’t leave the house. I did some sorting in my office in the morning. You wouldn’t believe the old crap I’d accumulated. I found receipts from stuff I bought 2002. What was I thinking keeping that junk for so long?

The answer is obvious. The founders got stuck in the bottom of a filling cabinet and forgotten. Well now it’s going to the recycling plant and good riddance.

After lunch and an episode of The Repair Shop, I made it my writing desk about 1:30. Another good writing day with only a half hour break for weed whacking brought me 5 more pages.

Also, the yard work is now officially done for the year. Thank goodness for these last few warm days or I might not have finished everything.

Now for the waiting

I’m waiting for audiobooks to be approved on ACX. I’m also waiting for my narrator to finish book 4 so I can proof it. And I’m waiting for my cover artist to upload the final files for The Heart of Alchemy. I still haven’t heard back from the comic artist I hired to do some test pages.

Outside of business, I’m waiting for Tuesday so i can get the garage door fixed.

Patience, my friends, is a virtue. And my virtue is being sorely tested lately.
