Lone Wolf McQuaid Review

The Day – 8-11-20

Well, I thought I had my merch situation straightened out, but when I got the invoice for my first sale it turns out that Redbubble doesn’t pay all the sales tax. They pay a portion of it and send a portion to the seller. The problem with this is that I haven’t reached the threshold for where I need to collect sales tax in any state besides NY. This means they’re collecting sales tax they shouldn’t. That’s a headache I don’t need. Apparently trying to find a solution to my merch problem will continue. I may end up just having to do it all myself. That way I can control the process.

On an equally depressing note, the place I found to make and ship jigsaw puzzles for me turns out to be based in Hong Kong. Given everything happening there, I can’t say as I’m very anxious to go into business with a company based there. And so my search continues. Or it ends. I haven’t decided if an extra income steam is worth the trouble yet.

So continuing my 80’s beat’em up movie reviews, today we have another Chuck Norris movie. In this one he plays a Texas Ranger out to stop gun runners who are stealing and reselling U.S. military weapons. The movie has the usual mix of gun play, fist fights, and goofy dialogue. Of course that’s what makes these sorts of movies fun. This was a fine example of the genre and recommend from me.

One thing I have noticed about these movies, they tend to be hard on family and friends of the hero. In every one I’ve watched, the best friend gets killed or kidnapped. Being plot motivation isn’t healthy in an action movie.

We end with a preorder update. The Great Northern War is up to 1,265 with two days to go. Thanks for all your support.

Talk to you tomorrow.
