The Day – 11-11-20

Yesterday was errand day for me and apparently everyone else in the area. Everywhere I went was crazy busy. Even 5 Guys had all their tables occupied. That hasn’t happened when I was there since the place first opened.

The journey began at Sam’s Club where they actually had everything I needed. Check out took awhile since every lane was full, but otherwise it went smoothly enough. I did have to wait in the parking lot while some poor guy struggled to maneuver his Jeep into a space barely big enough for it. At least no one honked. The poor fellow was probably stressed enough.

After Sam’s it was lunch then off to the drug store for a refill on my eyedrops. The sty just isn’t going away. At least it doesn’t hurt or obscure my vision.

Finally it was groceries and home. And man let me tell you I was beat by then. Somehow I forced myself to grind out a single page on the new novel and that was it. Honestly, I’m impressed I managed that much.

No writing updates to share. Just more waiting.
