The Day – 10-23-20
I had a pretty quiet day yesterday. The morning revolved around getting my week in review video ready to record. I’m getting better at them. This one only took about two hours and I didn’t even feel sick while recording it. So progress.
I also got my new driver’s license in the mail and oh my goodness. I never thought of myself as especially handsome, but that picture makes me look like I’m keeping four dead bodies in my basement freezer.
I’m not by the way, just some emergency bread and other staples.
For lunch, the plan was to go to our local diner, but when I arrived, the parking lot was full and people were waiting outside for tables. The food there is good, but not that good. I wouldn’t wait for a meal at the finest restaurant in the world, much less out little diner. So it was back home for frozen pizza. Which was fine.
After lunch and a hot compress for my eye, I watched another episode of the Repair Shop. This time they fixed up a little steam powered toy from the 1920s and a stained glass window some woman’s father made. Kind of a let down after the first episode, but still interesting.
I made it to my writing desk around 2:00 and managed a decent 4 pages.
On the audiobook front, I’m 2/3rds of the way finished and hope to wrap it up tonight. Fingers crossed.
Finally a preorder update. The Master of Magic is up to 928. Thanks everyone for your support.
Talk to you tomorrow.
