The Day – 10-19-20

I got quite a bit done yesterday, all of it seemingly at the same time. The furnace repairmen showed up at the same time as the realtor and a potential buyer. Not ideal, but they didn’t seem to mind. I just stayed in my car out of the way.

Still haven’t heard back whether they liked the house or not. Hopefully they did. And if not, at least the heat is working. Just one more thing that needs fixing and the house will are all set.

And let me tell you, I can’t wait for that. If I never have to piddle around over there again it will be too soon.

All that business ate up the bulk of my morning and after a late lunch I made it to my writing desk about 1:30. Despite the distractions, I managed a solid 5 pages. I will totally take it.

I’m only a couple nights away from finishing the first book in The Saga of Tanya the Evil. It’s an interesting take on the Isakai genre. So far I actually preferred the anime, which is a surprise to me. Usually the Light Novel is better. First time for everything I guess. I’ll do a proper review when I’m finished.
