The Day 8-31-20

The last day of August was a beautiful, sunny day, not too warm, not too cold, the kind of day you get maybe a handful of times a year around here. Naturally I spent it running around doing errands. At least it wasn’t too busy and lunch was excellent. The diner I went to has the best fries, I have to be careful not to eat too many. It was also the last day for the tenant in our rental so I had to collect the keys. Now, hopefully, we can sell the house before winter, fingers crossed, but I’m not holding my breath.

All that business kept me busy and I didn’t make it to my writing desk until 4:00 and only managed 1 page. Not exactly ideal, but I had low expectations for yesterday.

The car show I was telling you about yesterday is called Car Masters and it’s a Netflix original. I’ve watched two episodes so far and enjoyed them both. It gets a recommend from me.

Now updates. Audio production is underway for The Hidden Tower. With any luck that will be up for sale by the end of the month. Continuing in Audio, Tantor contacted me about Escape from the Dragon Czar, my odd man out Aegis of Merlin story. They want to do the audio for it and I’m happy to let them. It will be good to have the whole series out in that format.

Finally a preorder update. The Portal Thieves is up to 734. Thanks everyone for your support.
