The Day – 10-11-20

Yesterday was an okay day. I took my truck out for a ride to charge the battery. It barely started so it’s a good thing I didn’t wait any longer. On the down side, the furnace at the rental is acting up. I reset it so hopefully that will get it working right. Always problems, I swear.

After lunch and a show, I made it to my writing desk around 1:30 and managed another 6 pages. Think I’ve found my groove on this book. Hopefully it keeps going like this for a while.

The Diablo Series

I don’t know about you all, but when I was younger, I wasted far too many hours playing point and click games in the Diablo series. Leaving aside the game play, which was pretty simplistic to honest, the best part of the series was the lore.

It was such a cool world.

I even read some of the books set in it. I’ve still got three of them on a shelf in my office. Might have to do a review of them someday. Though to be honest, I could write reviews for years just based on the books on my shelves.

Anyway, I played the first three games in the series and enjoyed them all. My favorite character was the necromancer. If I, heaven forbid, ever ended up in such a situation, I’d want a bunch of zombies between me and the demons trying to tear me apart.
