The Day – 10-9-20

First off I want to thank everyone for making The Portal Thieves launch a great success. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate all your support. I did make a small mistake yesterday. When I announced the book was live on here, it hadn’t been released on Google Play yet. Sorry about any confusion. It seems Google releases their new books later in the day than Amazon and the rest. When The Master of Magic comes out, I’ll be sure to check first.

Now a quick update on Book 6, The Heart of Alchemy. The manuscript is done and off to the editor. My cover designer is working on the cover. We’re still a month or two away from it being ready, but things are moving along. I’ll be sure to keep you posted as matters progress.

One more thing. The Hidden Tower Audiobook is now live on Audible for those of you that like to listen. You should be able to find it pretty much everywhere now.

As for the day itself, it was generally pretty quiet. Some work I wanted to get done at the rental fell through forcing a reschedule. On the plus side, After lunch I had my best writing day on the new novel so far, over 6 pages. I’m really getting a feel for the story now. Hopefully I can keep my momentum up.

Let’s Talk Demons

Continuing our tour of horror monsters, it’s time to get to know the denizens of Hell. Demons are fun simply because of the variety of forms they can take. From the seductive Succubus to the horror of Pinhead. Demons are actually my favorite creatures to use in my own work. Almost every book I’ve written has demons and their human servants.

Of the demonic servants I’ve created, I think my current favorite is Connor Blackman from The Soul Force Saga. He wants power and immortality so bad it drove him to do horrible things.

With the Portal Thieves now live, it’s time to move on to following The Master of Magic’s preorders. It’s already up to 558. Not a bad place to start.
