The Great Reading Challenge Day 83 September 21

Morning everyone,

Crazy busy day yesterday. I started out at the bank. Since I only had a couple little things to do, I didn’t bother making an appointment. That turned out to be a bad idea on my part. They had exactly one teller and one assistant manager. That’s it. Two employees in the whole bank. Anyway, the manager squeezed me in and handled half the stuff I wanted to do before making me an appointment next week for the rest.

The theme continued at lunch where they had only one car hop. At one point I counted 8 cars in the parking lot including mine. Needless to say, he was a busy boy.

The grocery store at least seemed to have a full staff even if it didn’t have full shelves. All in all it was a slightly frustrating trip, but far from the worst I’ve ever had.

Once I got home I needed a rest and ended up finishing my words in the evening.

Update time.

Reading: Goblin Slayer book 10 – 49 pages

Writing: 7 pages on the new novel.

Talk to you tomorrow.

James
