The Great Reading Challenge Day 82 September 20

Morning everyone,

I hope you all had an excellent Monday, not that I’m sure such a thing exists. I lucked out in that I had nothing on the schedule and no phone calls to worry about. Those are my favorite sort of days. I like being able to just putter along at my own pace in the morning before writing in the afternoon. It’s very peaceful.

On the down side, you remember that fat squirrel I told you ran down my driveway the other day? Looks like he got run over. He was lying dead on the opposite side of the road from the driveway. Guess he should have run faster.

A quick note on the new trilogy. I got the proofread back for book 3 from my editor yesterday and it’s now with my final typo checker. Still waiting on the cover. Hopefully I’ll get it in early October, fingers crossed. The plan is to to do a long preorder while having the books for sale direct on my Payhip store. I’ve found people are more willing to buy from me when they can’t get the books anywhere else. We’ll see if that holds up.

Update time.

Reading: Goblin Slayer book 10 – 51 pages.

Writing: 8 pages on the new novel.

Talk to you tomorrow.

James
