Morning everyone,

We had another hot, miserable day yesterday. Whenever I want to bitch about it I just remind myself that, oh yeah, it’s August. Still, the morning wasn’t too bad and I went to the annual craft fair. It’s been canceled for a few years, but the local rotary brought it back this year. They had a pretty good showing too. There must have been twenty vendors.

The local Republicans had a good idea, free chocolate chip cookies for anyone that wanted one. Talk about winning good will. I wanted one and it was delicious.

I spent the afternoon working and made good progress on the new novel.
