Morning everyone,
We went from pouring down rain to ludicrously hot and humid in one day. Yesterday we hit 92 and 95% humidity. If you looked up uncomfortable in the dictionary, that’s what it would look like. Despite that I did get some things done. In the morning I sold some of my old woodworking tools I hadn’t used is years and in the afternoon the chimney sweep came and cleaned both my chimneys. And yes, the irony of getting my stoves ready to light up an a 90 degree day isn’t lost on me. But I’m glad to have it done all the same.
Once all that fun staff was out of the way, I spent the afternoon writing and made some good progress on the new novel. It’s really coming along and going in a direction I didn’t expect. It’s kind of a fantasy political thriller, if such a thing exists.
Almost forgot, the last books for the Kickstarter shipped as well. As soon as they arrive I’ll get them signed and on their way.
Update time.
