I finally decided it was safe to take the paper covering my sliding glass door off. So far the robin hasn’t returned. Hopefully I’ve seen the last of him. I have to say, in forty years I’ve never seen a bird act like that. Sure you get one that flies into a window once, but never hundreds of times in a day. Maybe he got into some meth on the side of the road or something.
Anyway enough about the stupid bird. Yesterday I finished the rough draft of my new novel. It’s something a little different from me, a post apocalyptic fantasy set in the year 3,000. I used it as a change of pace from the epic fantasy series I’ve been working on.
Speaking of which, we reached 110 preorders on The Hidden Tower.
I’ll probably start on the fifth book in this series Monday. I figure the main series will run eight books, but I’ve got ideas for a bunch of other stories set in this world after the main saga. My plan is to use it as my primary epic fantasy setting. Whether I actually follow that plan is another matter. We all know how good I am at following plans after all. : )
I hope you all have an awesome day. Stay safe and I’ll talk to you tomorrow.
