Happy Memorial Day everyone and a special thank you to everyone that served in the military.

We had another nice day yesterday. I spent a fair chunk of the morning trimming. Still not in very good shape. Of course I don’t think I’ve ever been in particularly good shape. Even when I was a kid, if I played too hard over the weekend, I would end up with a cold or something. One of the reasons I got into writing and publishing was because I could do it from home. I don’t have a strong enough immune system to work a full time job. I think when I was born I rolled a seven on my constitution. If I had to work regular hours and be around people all day, I’d be constantly sick, even before current crisis.

After the yard work I came in and finished fixing lunch. We had my favorite, beef stew. After that it was two episodes of MI-5. That’s a great show by the way. If you haven’t seen it I highly recommend checking it out. It’s set in the UK, obviously, right after 9/11 and a the hight of the war on terror. The actors are all excellent. The chief, Harry, is my favorite. He’s got this manipulative, almost slimy way about him that’s perfect for a spymaster.

There are five season on the Brit box streaming channel and I’ve just started number three, so plenty of excellent entertainment to go. If you’ve watched it, let me know in the comments what you thought. Who’s your favorite character?

After TV I moved on to the writing desk and managed a solid 5 pages.

Finally, Preorders on The Hidden Tower reached 275. I think we’ve got a real shot at reaching 300 before the end of the month thanks to all of your support.
