Well I hope everyone had a nice Mother’s Day, whether in person over video chat. For my mom and I it was kind of a strange mother’s day. Usually we’d go out to lunch and maybe go shopping for some flowers she wanted for the yard. This year, of course, that wasn’t an option. Instead I fixed us a nice lunch of waffles, bacon, and potatoes. I guess you’d call it more of a brunch, but whatever. We couldn’t have planted flowers anyway since it was barely above freezing outside. Instead we watched a movie, Den of Thieves with Gerard Butler. It was really good. I won’t give away the ending, but it reminded me of one of my favorite crime movies of all time, The Usual Suspects, only with more gun play.
After the movie I went to my office and managed 6 more pages on the new novel. It’s off to a quick start, but then most of my books start off fast then slow down toward the end. Not sure why, but I’ve written over thirty of them and they all pretty much go that way.
Preorders on The Hidden Tower are at 149. Just one more to go until 150. Thanks everyone for your support.
