The Day - 5-1-20 - James E. Wisher

The Day – 5-1-20

Supplies were getting low so I had to make a run out into the wide world. It was actually busy. Not just busy for the middle of a pandemic, but really busy. Traffic all over the place, parking lots full, and people everywhere, all in masks which is still really weird. Especially the ones that use bandanas, they all look like train robbers from an old western to me. Anyway, shopping was a success for the most part. Still no hand sanitizer or disinfecting wipes, but plenty of paper products and food. Over all, can’t complain.

The robin continues to stay calm. Tomorrow I might try taking some of the window coverings off and see how that goes. I feel like I’m over the hump with him, but then again he might just be trying to lull me into a false sense of security. We shall see.

Unfortunately, after running around shopping, I was beat when I got home and only managed two pages of writing. Better than nothing, but not great either.

We’re creeping up on 100 preorders for the new book. Maybe we’ll hit it tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

Talk to you tomorrow.
