So yesterday was as dark and gloomy as the day before was bright and pleasant. Things started out weird and stayed that way.

After breakfast I settled in my office to work on business stuff. I’d barely gotten started when a robin started battering its head against my sliding glass door. The stupid bird kept up the assault all day.

For ten hours!

It took a short rest around three then came back until dark. Now I need to clean bird shit off the door and my deck.

Anyway, aside from the insane bird, the rest of the day went pretty well. Had a nice to go lunch from my favorite dinner and wrote five pages on the new novel. I can see the end on this book, probably another 20,000 words or so.
