Morning everyone,

I’m back from my family outing. We had a lot of fun, including my first visit to a Cracker Barrel restaurant. If you ever get a chance to order their chicken noodle soup, don’t pass it up. It was so good. They even use homemade noodles.

So a couple of important announcements. First, the daily blog posts and my reading challenge are over. It was fun, but I’ve had enough. I’ll be using this blog more for publishing updates, fiction snippets, and any other important information I need to share. I will also continue to repost my weekly newsletter and Fiction Friday.

Finally, I’ll be trying another new project, daily short videos chronicling my efforts to “Win” NaNoWrimo. Basically you’re supposed to write a 50,000 word novel in November. My next novel will certainly be longer than that, but I’m hoping to reach the word count goal. That should be interesting.
