Dark Nocturne Review - James E. Wisher

Dark Nocturne Review

The Day – 9-19-20

Yesterday got off to a chilly start. I woke up to 30 degrees and frost. Not a hard frost, just enough to turn the grass white. My flowers all looked okay at least. I also had my first fire of the year. There’s really no better way to take the chill off than a nice wood fire. I spent the morning working on business stuff, mostly setting up two new facebook ads. I’m not the best at advertising so we’ll see how they pan out.

After lunch I watched an episode of Deadliest Catch that I had recorded. It was taped back in I think January or February. They’re talking about Coronavirus shutting down ports and stuff. It’s weird hearing people talk about it like it’s a new thing.

Anyway, I made it my writing desk around 2:00 and worked all afternoon on editing The Heart of Alchemy. I’m not quite half way done the first pass. Hopefully I’ll get thought that today.

Dark Nocturne Review

Last night I finished reading the tenth book in the Vampire Hunter D series. This one was a little bit different. It’s actually a collection of three novellas. All three stories were very good. Though honestly I’ve never read a book in this series I didn’t enjoy. If you’re into action with horror elements, this is a book and series for you. I give it a strong recommend.

Finally a preorder update. The Portal Thieves is up to 1,114. Thanks everyone for your support.

Talk to you tomorrow.
