Hello everyone,

Audible is once again acting erratically. Sort of in my favor this time. Usually they need at least ten days and sometimes two weeks to approve a new audiobook for sale. With that in mind, I uploaded the files for processing a week ago today assuming they’d be approved somewhere in the vicinity of launch day next Friday.

I’ll be completely honest with you guys, the more I use Audible, the more I hate it. First off, what sort of store doesn’t allow you to decide when your book goes on sale? They also pay a wretched royalty rate, way worse than anywhere else. Brandon Sanderson talked a lot about it and why he wasn’t putting some of his work up right away, if at all.

If it wasn’t the biggest audiobook seller in the world, I wouldn’t put my books up there in the first place.

Now for some good news. I got my Discord Server set up. There are channels for talking about books, tv and movies, and anime. There’s a Q&A channel as well as a channel to post fan art. I posted an AI created piece showing how I picture Anna Maria from the Portal Wars. I hope to see you there. I pop in a few times a day to reply to any comments and see what’s happening.
