Morning everyone,

I spent about three hours yesterday uploading preorder files for Shadow Magic to all the retailers and uploading audio files to Kobo and Findaway Voices. It’s a hideously slow process. I wish they had a bulk upload function, but no, it’s one file at a time. I made it a third of the way through Audible and tapped out. I’ll finish it this morning along with posting to Payhip. Should have a buy link for you guys tomorrow assuming no issues.

All that uploading didn’t do my shoulder any good and when my writing time arrived typing hurt. I ended up dictating about half of yesterday’s words. Which was fine. One of the reasons I tried to get comfortable with dictation even though it’s not my favorite way to work is for days like yesterday and likely today. It never hurts to be flexible in your work habits.

Update time:

Reading: 30 pages of nonfiction. Couldn’t get into a western last night.

Writing: 8 pages on the new novel.
