Morning everyone,

Got some good stuff done yesterday. All the mowing is finished down at my woodlot. I hadn’t had it done in a while and there were little trees growing up in the field. Not exactly ideal. Anyway, it’s all good now.

Since the weather turned out really nice, I went for a drive to check out the fall foliage. It wasn’t as bright as I expected in the mountains given the time of year. Still pretty, don’t get me wrong. I saw one guy with a camera that looked like it cost as much as my car setting up in one especially bright area. Five will get you ten he was a pro planning to sell prints.

At the end of the drive I had a nice lunch at a diner I like. I hadn’t been there in a few months, so that was a treat.

After all that running around I made it home for my afternoon writing and hit my word count goal.

All in all an excellent day.

Reading: 2 hours of audio book proofing.

Writing: 8 pages on the new novel.
