The Great Reading Challenge Day 86 September 24

Morning everyone,

Had a pretty good day yesterday. My contractor stopped by and recaulked the tub which was great since the old caulking had started to disintegrate and I didn’t want water getting behind the back splash. That should be dry and set and good for some time. Fingers crossed.

I don’t know if I’ve been writing too much or what, but my shoulders ached yesterday. Still got my words done, but I sat at my desk instead of in the recliner and tried to have better posture. Don’t really think it helped, but it didn’t hurt either so what the hell.

No new news on the publishing front. I’m in the waiting phase on a bunch of projects. Nothing unusual about that. The best thing to do is just power forward on your new novel. Worrying about the other stuff accomplishes nothing.

Update time.

Reading: Western Stories – 40 pages. I read the introduction and first story in the book. It was well done, though you can tell Leonard was just starting to form his style.

Writing: 6 pages on the new novel.

Talk to you tomorrow.

James
