Morning everyone,

Yesterday was kind of a dull, dreary, nasty day. It rained all afternoon, not that I had any outdoor work planned. On the plus side I did get my morning walk in before the nasty arrived. I also got a bunch of adds and ends the lawyer mentioned taken care of, so all of that is done. My editor pushed back the proofread on the third book of the new trilogy by a week. Not a huge deal since my narrator doesn’t need it until October.

I also got an update from my cover artist on the third cover and that is progressing nicely. There’s still a lot of work to do, but I can see it coming together in the near future.

Preorders on Rise of the Demon Lords passed 600 and we’ve still got over a week to go. I think 1,000 is out of reach, but 700 is well within range.

Reading: Reaper’s Eye – 39 pages. I’ve hit a nice rhythm with this book and I’m really enjoying it. Should reach the halfway point tonight.

Writing: 6 pages on the new novel.
