The Great Reading Challenge Day 58 August 27

Morning everyone,

Well, the wretched heat has finally broken. Yesterday morning it was in the mid sixties and finally put a dent in the trimming that had built up. Unfortunately the grass has grown up so much that it keeps wrapping around the trimmer shaft forcing me to stop and tear it off. I must have done that half a dozen times before I final said to hell with this and quit. About half a dozen trees remain to be trimmed, but I’ll get to them eventually.

I had someone follow me on Twitter yesterday. It never ceases to amaze me when they do since I almost never tweet anything. I don’t really like social media and I’m trying to focus on building up this blog and my newsletter instead. But hey, new follower, if you’re reading this, thanks so much for the follow.

The after lunch writing went well. All in all it was a pretty quiet and productive day.

Update time,

Reading: another 3 hours of audiobook proofed.

Writing: 7 pages on the new novel done.

Talk to you tomorrow.

James
