Morning everyone,

Another solid 6 pages on the new novel yesterday. I can see the end and it looks like this book is going to end up at around 40,000 words, the same length as my sci-fi books. Not terrible for urban fantasy, but I was hoping for longer. But as with all things writing related, at least for me, the story dictates the length not the other way around. If you do it the other way you get slow, boring stories stuffed with filler. No one wants to read one of those.
