Hello everyone,

So I wanted to talk about something completely unrelated to writing. Naturally I settled on pumpkin racing. Basically people hollow out giant pumpkins, get inside, and ride them down rivers like they were kayaks.

This is not something I would ever do, but when I saw it, do yo know the first thing that popped into my mind? That scene from The Hobbit movies where the dwarves are going down the river in barrels. How much funnier would that have been if they’d hollowed out elvish pumpkins and rode them instead?

Try and get that image out of your head. I know I haven’t been able to.
