Morning everyone,

Another successful day on the new novel. I managed 1,911 words for a total of 5,243. I finally found the flow of the story, which is awesome. With any luck I can stay in it for the rest of project. Probably not, since I’m almost guaranteed to run into trouble at some point, but until I do, I’m enjoying the ride.

For those of you wondering, it’s not at all unusual to have trouble getting into the flow of a novel at the beginning. It doesn’t happen every time I start a new story, but it does happen often enough that I no longer worry about it. You just have to power through and at some point you find something that clicks and off you go. It’s a beautiful feeling.

On the publishing front, my narrator has started on the audiobook for the third novel in The Divine Key Trilogy. I hope to start proofing that next Monday. Fingers crossed.
