Hello everyone,
It’s been an interesting week for me. It seems that pretty much everyone I know is in one of three stages, getting back from a vacation, heading out on a vacation, or planning a vacation.
I suspected I’m part of a fairly small minority that hates vacations. I know the purpose of one is to recharge your batteries so you can get back to work with new energy. Fine, cool, I get that. If you hate your job, that’s probably necessary.
But I love my job. I also live in one of the most beautiful places you can imagine. Millions of people come to my part of the world every year for their vacation.
I also hate hotels. The beds are too hard and there’s too much noise. I’m also not a big fan of planes and I always end up worn out and sick.
I haven’t been on a proper vacation in decades and I have no plans to take one anytime soon. Instead I’m going to keep plugging away at the newest book in my Rogue Star Sci-Fi series. I’m about 1/4 of the way done.
